Mark your calendars for the 2026 Smith Hill Block Party on Wednesday, August 12th from 3-7 PM on Candace Street (rain date August 20).
Hosted by Smith Hill Library, this free, family-friendly event features a live DJ, fun for kids—including a bounce house, games, Touch-A-Truck with the Providence Fire Department, and a visit from the Official Wrestling Museum—plus free food and entertainment for all ages.
Dozens of local organizations will also be on hand with resources, giveaways, and activities. Whether you're a longtime resident or visiting for the first time, this annual celebration is a summer highlight you won’t want to miss!
